As a party decorator, I’ve been in your shoes before: You’re hosting a party, but you need a little help thinking of ideas for dressing up your tables. Don’t worry—I’m here with all the fall table centerpiece ideas you need! These ideas can work well for a fall gathering, Halloween party or even a Thanksgiving celebration. See which one you think will fit with your event.
Gold Pumpkins
Sometimes you need a simple yet stunning table design. The perfect solution? Gold-painted pumpkins. This centerpiece idea requires nothing more than metallic spray paint, newspapers to protect the work area and some time. Simply spray the pumpkins in your favorite shade of gold, let them sit for about a day and voila—fall glam! Make sure you spray paint the pumpkins in a well-ventilated area to prevent overwhelming paint fumes. Pair your pumpkins with a cream white rental table linen for a more neutral look, or go all out on the metallics with a silver table cloth or runner.
Lanterns Filled with Orange and Cream Candles
Candles are an essential for fall tablescapes! Let them shine by placing some in blood orange and tangerine colors in an antique wooden lantern. To add even more pizzazz to it, cover the lantern in an arrangement of pine cones, leaves and faux red berries. Tie it with a bow for a cute touch.
Apple Candles
Love the idea of using candles as the main focus of your table design, but want to change it up a bit? Try placing them in apples! Simply carve out a small hole in the top of a red apple and place a tea-light sized candle, either in a vanilla or caramel scent, on top. Do this for about five or six apples, and strategically place them in a bowl. Soon enough, your event venue will be exuding fall! To complement the rich red color of the apples, use a sequin gold table runner.
Fall Terrarium
Terrariums are earthy and whimsical, and they’re easily adaptable for whatever season you want. For fall, simply fill your terrarium with miniature pumpkins and (real or fake!) crisp leaves. You can either use a single terrarium for your centerpiece, or you can use multiple ones in smaller sizes. I love how this centerpiece looks with a tan rental table linen. You could even some other table accessories, like the gold pumpkins or apple candles, with this look and still have a great balance!
